What data is collected and why
When you use the contact form, the following is collected: your name, e-mail address, company (optional), the nature of your inquiry, and your message. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and to conduct any follow-up communication you request. The legal basis is the performance of steps prior to entering into a contract and legitimate interest in responding to messages addressed to me (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
If you tick the optional box to receive occasional updates about talks and workshops, your contact details are also used for that purpose. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to the address above.
Who processes the data
- Google LLC — contact form submissions are stored in Google Forms. Google may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See Google's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts this website and provides privacy-friendly, cookieless visitor analytics that do not identify individual visitors. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies and does not display advertising. No cookie consent banner is required because no consent-requiring technologies are used.
How long data is kept
Inquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting cooperation, at most 2 years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law. Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until you withdraw consent.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
